Feel lost in the kitchen? Want to cook AND enjoy it, but not sure where to start? Need a little nudge to get you going? Join us for our Watching Your Ps & Qs Cooking Skills Series.
What - This is a 4 part series teaching the basics. We will talk about everything from planning (SO important to enjoying), meats, veggies, grains & sauces, quick tips to make life easier (aaaahhhhhh), how to conquer a roux & gravy (a must for every self respecting Southern cook!) and so much more! Of course there will be tips on food quality all through the series. We cannot talk food without talking quality!
When – The following classes will meet monthly on Saturday morning from 10 AM to 12 PM.

May 4 2019 6-8PM Pop Up Farm to Table
May 4 2019 from 6-8 PM we will be hosting a pop up Farm to Table at Land Farm. We are serving a five course Cinco de Mayo feast featuring locally sourced Mexican cuisine. As always our food is gluten free, dairy free & primarily organic.
Join us at the beautiful Land Farm located 15 minutes from West Monroe (directions will be provided) for a dining experience to remember! Tickets are $75 plus tax per person. Gratuities are not included but always appreciated on the day of the event for our service and kitchen staff. Feel free to bring your favorite bottle of wine to enjoy.

March 19 Nourish U Keto Workshop
Shannon Dahlum, owner of Octane Training, and Dana Milford, owner of "for His temple family foods", have teamed up to bring you another Nourish U educational event! At this workshop, you'll learn how insulin leads to fat storage and the optimal way to keep those insulin levels low. You probably already know that refined carbs and sweets raise insulin, but did you know that chronically elevated cortisol (one of your stress hormones) raises insulin, too? And did you know that long term low carb or keto dieting can raise cortisol? This means that going on a keto diet could actually make your insulin and fat storage problems worse, if not done correctly!
